Transportation around New Orleans in a comfortable, full size Conversion Van or comforable SUV

Can include walker or wheelchair for handicapped or disabled guests. Please let me know in advance if this is needed. No fee!

A drive through the iconic and historic French Quarter of New Orleans.

St. Louis Cemetery No. 3

A walk through one the most amazing cemeteries in the world and a description of why we bury our citizens the way we do. A must see in New Orleans. From Iconic graves sites, Catholic Influence and different way of interment than anywhere else in the world.

New Orleans City Park

Possible Stop for Lunch near City Park or Stop for beignets and coffee in city park. Up to 45 minutes depending on where we stop and size of group. Meals and drinks are not included in tour pricing and are the responsibility of the guests.

Lake Pontchartrain

Stop at Lake Pontchartrain for group photo, on what we call the south shore. We will discuss the size, unique character, a world record bridge and more.

Tulane University

Drive down St. Charles Avenue, showing and discussing the various Estates, home and Mansions. Also see Loyola and Tulane Universities while discussing their history. Also have many photo Opportunities on this route. The Home/Mansions are amazing!

My family stayed in Ocean Springs, Mississippi and made a day trip to New Orleans. Glen arranged to meet us at the Visitor's Center and all 7 of us hopped into his very clean van for his tour of the city. I am so glad we booked with him! He took us to the typical tourist sites like Bourbon Street, but he also took us to areas that we would have never known about without his guidance. Glen is a very knowledgeable native and we learned a lot! He made it fun for my three kids and relevant for the adults in the group. Our tour started with a stop at the 11th story observation window of a downtown hotel to view the Mississippi River. What a way to start! Other stops included a local cemetery (where Glen answered ALL of my questions), City Park to feed the ducks, Cafe du Monde for beignets, Lake Pontchartrain, and the Tree of Life. My kids enjoyed getting out for the stops. The other time was spent traveling the city roads and listening to Glen share history and stories of the city and its people. Everyone agreed that booking a private tour with Glen was perfect for us to explore the city in just one day's time. Glen was great to work with planning the time, meeting location, and areas of interest for may family. And his #dadjokes were entertaining!

Had a great time with Glen on his private tour! He offered to take us to try the best Po’Boys for lunch and another place for great ice cream. He knows the city and its history well. He’s an excellent guide. Knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, a good sense of humor and a good man! Highly recommend taking his tour if you have a chance.

Outstanding Tour of NOLA! This is a private tour experience. Glen a New Orleans native will pick you up in a very comfortable van and whisk you away to all the major points and a few lesser known hidden gems. The tour is customized for your particular interests and gives you a lot of history. I would highly recommend booking this trip when visiting NOLA on the first couple of days of your stay. The knowledge you'll gain will help you in having a fantastic time in one of the most unique city's in the country. 5 Stars for Henley's Private Tours!
