A walk through one the most amazing cemeteries in the world and a description of why we bury our citizens the way we do. A must see in New Orleans. From Iconic graves sites, Catholic Influence and different way of interment than anywhere else in the world.

New Orleans City Park

Possible Stop for Lunch near City Park or Stop for beignets and coffee in city park. Up to 45 minutes depending on where we stop and size of group. Meals and drinks are not included in tour pricing and are the responsibility of the guests.

Lake Pontchartrain

Stop at Lake Pontchartrain for group photo, on what we call the south shore. We will discuss the size, unique character, a world record bridge and more.

Tulane University

Drive down St. Charles Avenue, showing and discussing the various Estates, home and Mansions. Also see Loyola and Tulane Universities while discussing their history. Also have many photo Opportunities on this route. The Home/Mansions are amazing!

Lake Ponchatrain. If you like nothing but history, architecture and no-interest stories, this is your tour.

This was the most unusual tour I've ever had in 10 years. The two of the guests who booked my tour had never been on a New Orleans tour, but two of the guests were on a "Private" tour the day before my tour. The lady who was on the other tour the day before, continually asked questions about where we were going, and interrupted my tour on several occasions, saying "we're not interested in that". Since she was a friend onf the lady who booked the tour, I tried not to say anything and on one occasion just stopped the tour shourt and went where she asked. In effect the lady who toured New Orleans the day before had convinced the lady who booked my tour that this was a mistake. So, in conclusion. Why would someone who already had a tour the day before going on another one? Also, just let me know in advance what and where you want to go, and I'll take you there. However, one 2* review out of 200 5* star reviews isn't bad. I apologize Mandy for not meeting your expectations. It is my intent to make my tour both entertaining and educational, while showing the entire city of New Orleans and its history.

Glen he is so professional and a knowledge about the city and history we learn a lot about New Orleans and the food culture also as people and history if you guys looking for a VIP relaxing and comfortable private tour I highly recommend him you will not be disappointed.

We booked this from viator. We had never heard of viator or Mr. Henley. We had no expectations, but from the start Mr. Henley contacted me. He was very polite and pre-made all arrangements. He picked us up and from our room at Hotel Provincial he started the tour. He was very knowledgeable and took us to places we didn't know existed. He took us behind the scenes and in to places that were closed to the public. We were treated like VIP's and he treated my kids like they were friendly. I have never meet anyone with passion, knowledge, and desire to please clients. If you are wanting a tour of New Orleans book Henley it's a must.
