Start your morning off right with a hike on the East Side of Oahu! Options are below;

(1) Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail (Sunrise Hike) Only Available on Tues, Wed, Thurs and Friday. This is a paved 2.5 mile hike for all ages. This is the best place to watch the sunrise on the Island of Oahu. The views of the sunrise at Makapuu is something you have to experience in person. Also between December to April, this trail is an excellent place to view migrating humpback whales. On a clear day, you may even see the neighboring islands of Molokai and Lanai! There is nothing better than starting off the day by doing some hiking and experience seeing the sunrise on the east side of Oahu. Plus after the tour, you still will be able to enjoy the rest of your day.

This hike was a tough one. Pain on my legs but it was worth it. I thought of giving up but stuck thru it. Going to the beach after was great. Got to cool off. Transportation was included. Very convenient.

I always enjoy staying at Hanauma Bay. Hiking the Koko head is not so tough and doesn’t take so long time!
