The cave is at a ladder on the side of the road and you peek your head in the "cave". We were told we had to pay extra to go to the park when we were picked up at the port. Nice tour, but not exactly as described.

Aloha this tour is exactly as advertised. Kaumana lava tube cave is amazing and you are allowed to enter if you want. This cave is very much in its raw state. Kilauea Volcano is huge, this tour does not go into the Volcano Park portion of the tour but rather the Eastern rift zone where our last biggest eruption happened creating a massive fissure in a neighborhood.

We found the C Big Island sign inside the cruise terminal building. Our tire guide Jr did a great job to show us around. We visited five places. Learned a lot about the lava, culture and local people’s lives. Highly recommend Jr as your tour guide!

This was a perfect day. We got to see so many more things than we were expecting to. Our guide- Ellen- was so friendly and knowledgeable and I feel like she really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day. Felt the steam coming thru lava rocks, went to a beautiful area with black sand beach and ridiculously beautiful waves. Saw Rainbow Falls, and so many more things.
