Ellen, our tour guide was so informative, funny and personable. She made sure we saw and had a variety of experiences. We saw rainbow falls, hiked in lava caves, lava fields and visited a new black beach. We bought lunch at a local market, and ate it in a beautiful park. We stopped at the island cookie, candy place and had free samples of delicious Kona coffee, cookies and candy. It was a full, fun day and well worth it.

The lava flow caves were most interesting but wear sturdy shoes and bring a flashlight. The black beaches were beautiful and the lava devastation was unbelievable.

Lava fields were unexpected. Waterfall not worth seeing. Lunch choice very good. Do need to be more specific about walking conditions. Guide very good

Aloha Doris, thank you for the review and your feedback. We do advertise about the uneven paths and steep steps to get into the lava tube. We recommend anyone that is not in good health or condition to not take this tour.
