Это самый большой японский сад за пределами Японии, подаренный королевой Лилиуокалани в 1917 году. Повсюду в садах установлены каменные фонари, беседки и ворота тории, напоминающие о японских иммигрантах, приехавших на Гавайи.

The views were fantastic. Got to see the craters even though volcano wasn’t erupting anymore. Our guide Donna was wonderful as well.

A really knowledgeable driver who was born and raised in Hawaii. Learned a lot We saw steam crevices and lava tube. Garden was more of a drive by park —too wet to have been a stop Longer tour than we expected. Would recommend it to others. Really wanted to see hot lava fields

Aloha, sorry we do not advertise molten lava as most of the time it cannot be seen. I know so many people who wanted to see all the lava from Mauna Loa however there is no longer any lava to be seen. Sorry, I wish we had lava to show our customers all the time. Nature just doesn't seem to work that way 😊 Thank you for the review

We were unable to book a tour through the cruise ship so I found one with Vivitar which was excellent. We toured in a small buss with about twenty people and the driver Donna was just wonderful. As you can imagine the Volcano National park visit was thrilling as we were there while Kilowea was erupting, and Mona lea was starting to rumble. We saw the Rainbow falls and several other points of interest as the trip from the hip to the National Park was almost an hour. This was probably the most exciting day of our Hawaiian Island cruise. Don't miss this opportunity of a lifetime.
