I'm staying in Tucson for a few days before heading to a camp to work as a counsellor for the summer so wanted to relax and get an overview of the city. I knew the temperatures would be pretty high so I thought the 6am Sunrise tour would be perfect before it got too hot. It was so easy to book and a really reasonable price. The booking email also included very good instructions on how to find the shop and where to park. I was the only person on the tour which just made it even better. Jimmy is a fabulous tour guide and really knows his stuff from talking to the locals (he even met a new source of information while we were on our tour). So you know it's going to be good info. The tour lasted for 2 hours and I got to see all the main sites of Tucson and I learnt so much about the history, the music and the culture. Jimmy was even kind enough to take a few pictures of me at certain stops. I love Tucson and I've been on quite a few bike tours in other cities but I can definitely say Jimmy has been the best guide so far which makes this the best tour so far! The bikes are a little different to what I'm used to but Jimmy explained how to work them and I actually really enjoyed cycling on it. You need to take this tour!! If I have the time at some point I'm definitely coming back to do one of the other tours Jimmy offers.

I LOVE the sunrise tour . . . it's my favorite during the warmer months. Comfortable temperatures, great morning light, with really quiet streets as well. The area near my office also has lots of places to enjoy breakfast after the ride. I'm so glad that you liked it. Thanks for the review.

My girlfriend and I took a night time bike tour with Jimmy during our recent stay in Tucson. What a fun way to tour the city! We learned some interesting history, saw several neighborhoods and landmarks, played a little pinball, ate some great street food, and had an incredibly good time. The pace was right for this tour and since the city is mostly flat, so no worries about keeping up the pace. The bikes were comfortable and well maintained. And since Tucson is a super bike friendly city, the night time ride felt very safe. I would highly recommend the night time tour. Thanks Jimmy.

I'm so glad I chose a city bike tour when I had a day to spend on my own in Tucson. It almost didn't happen because I wasn't far from the office I had to go to, and I chose to walk, however I got turned around, but Jimmy was great and came out to find me. He really didn't have to, but was gracious enough to help me. Once we got things set, he took me through the different neighborhoods across Tucson. There are some really fascinating points of interest like the bridge built like a rattlesnake and complete with a motion sensor to trigger a rattle sound. I wish I had gotten a picture, but the sun's angle prevented it. The old Spanish fort that once existed is long gone, but one wall still remains. I love historical landmarks like that, and an original adobe house nearby, and sadly I could have probably stayed longer in that area and geeked out over that, but we had to move on. Two things that were impressive:1-we encountered a family who had taken the tour the day before and raved about it. 2-Jimmy had obviously done a lot of work researching points of interest, finding actual photos or drawings representing the stop, and telling the stories about the stops. I just wish I had thought to ask for a map showing all the various neighborhoods we'd ridden through. It's always great to see the highlights of a city with a local. The bike tour exploring Tucson is definitely a must do for anyone looking for a creative twist on a guided tour.

I'm glad you enjoyed the tour so much. Thanks for the feedback about a map. While I provide a tour recap after the tour which describes the major points of interest, I can see how a visual aid could make it even better. Sounds like a project for my to do list!
