What a wonderful way to spend our 30th wedding anniversary. Cruising down the Kona coast in the afternoon and evening was everything we hoped. The crew was very attentive to our every need and desire. The pier was easy to find and a leisurely walk from the Body Glove office. The boat was very comfortable and the buffet dinner fabulous and plentiful. I had my first taste of passionfruit lillikoi and am hooked.
Our narrator, Micaela, told us so much about what we were seeing. She was most entertaining, sharing personal stories and observations that brought history to life. We had perfect weather and the most awesome luck because we saw many, many dolphins as we cruised down the coast and back. Captain Rick told us that although they see dolphins, they rarely see as many as we did. Some were even playing in the boat's wake which was a treat to see.
We were treated to lovely Hawaiian music by our on board entertainer. He has a smooth voice and is very skilled on the guitar. He sang some oldies but goodies, as well as one or two of his original compositions.
This is a wonderful way to spend an evening in Kona and a bargain at the price.
This was a great experience! So peaceful and serene! We also saw some spinner dolphins that were hanging out with us as we headed out of the pier and in the cove for the Captain Cook memorial, a Manta Ray showed off for us. A beautiful sunset ended the evening on a perfect note! The entertainment on the ship was wonderful and he had a fantastic voice! Highly recommend this dinner cruise!
Great crew and awesome food. Water was really rough. Any doubt you get seasick, take something. I didn't get sick but a lot of people did. Great tour though.
