As with anything, the tour guide you get makes all the difference! We had a great one and then an "okay" one when we hopped back on the trolley. The 2 "character stops" were okay...nothing great. We were made aware that if you purchased your hop on/off ticket after 2pm on Saturday it was good all day the next day. However, you do need to make sure you know that the last buses pick up between 4pm/4:30pm or you'll find yourself walking. Also, it was nice that a shuttle picked us up outside our hotel to take us to the bus tour welcome center where we got on our initial tour bus. That service is offered in reverse as well. I think I'd recommend the 90 minute tour to get your baring's early on during your Savannah visit. Then you'll get an idea of where you and your party would like to venture off and visit on your own.

I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with this service.Our tour guide / driver was very sweet and talkative in a good way. He went by the name of tony and always had a delightful smile on his face . And told of some of his experiences while on the tour! Overall I give this service a thumbs up must do . Thank you for an amazing ride !

Would have been much better if they had told you everything you need to know, like what time the "daytime" service stops and switches to ghost tours. The previous night, we had seen the trolleys several times operating around town into the evening. We didn't know it was a "ghost tour". So when we bought our "unlimited" off and on privilege tickets the next morning, our plan was to hop off for lunch and dinner, and return after dinner since we had seen the trolleys running late the night before. We were told the entire 16 stop tour lasted approximately 90 minutes. After our first 90 minutes, we were only to stop 10. We got off there because we were trying to get to the riverboat for the lunch cruise. So we got off 5 stops early and walked the rest of the way so we'd be on time. Later in the day we return to stop 10. When we got off earlier in the day, we asked how often the trolleys run and were told about every 15 minutes. Well, we waited, and we waited, and after 30 minutes we called the number on our tickets. The person who answered was very nice but informed us the daytime trolleys had stopped running in our area about 6:30 and were now being run as ghost tour trolleys. How were we supposed to know that??? We were now on the opposite corner of the historic district and had only gotten half of our round trip tour, and no way to get back on the trolley. If they are going to shut down early in the day like that, the drivers need to make the announcement several times during the tour about what time the last trolleys run. Character actors boarding at various stops was cute and informative. Unfortunately, we only got to see two of them. We most definitely did not get our money's worth on this deal as we were never able to complete the tour.

We apologize that you did not receive information regarding the times of our daytime tours. We begin daily at 9 am and depart every 20 minutes until 4:30. We are sorry you weren't made aware of this. Typically the trolleys come around to the stops every 20 minutes. With the amount of traffic in the historic district and the characters that hop aboard, sometimes they come a little later. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We do strive to provide at least two characters per tour. If you are doing the on/off tour sometimes you may see more.
