I am local to San Antonio and had not had the opportunity to check out Hopscotch and LOVED IT! It was fun for us to explore the space and take a moment to not "act our age." First and foremost, the staff was absolutely amazing. From the front desk, to the bartender on duty, and everyone that was stationed throughout the space, they were AWESOME. The exhibits are beautifully done and so much fun. We cannot wait to come back with the kids! I would recommend this place for older children, not little ones. All exhibits are clearly labeled, so if there is something in there that children may not be prepared for it blatantly says it. (For example, there is a secret sharing room that can get a little explicit. You can literally bypass the room.) Overall, it's a perfect date night activity or night out with friends. It you rush through it, it lasts about 30 - 45 minutes. Take your time and explore the exhibits! We were there for a little over an hour. My personal favorite was the light therapy room. It was so calming in a space that could be chaotic. I cannot wait to see how they add to the space!

The Ball pit was the most fun. There was 4 other cool exhibits but i don't see unless they add exhibits or change things how is this going to have revisiting value. There was a couple of rooms i saw no point in and the description of what to do there made no sense or hyped it up. It was extremely disturbing that there bathrooms said "Identified as a man" and vice versa for woman. I wouldn't bring my child to a place like this. Especially to the secrets telephone room where I heard graphic and some people really excited about cheating on their partners and or sexual explicit acts. Not a place for Children at all.

To address your concerns, we aim to be inclusive as possible in all of our operations, which is why we have those bathroom signs. Additionally, all of the Secrets phones with adult content have a mature warning placard on the wall next to them. We also have a phone specifically for children that's labeled as such. We're sorry if that didn't translate during your visit, and we hope you'll give us another shot in the future.

Didn’t know what to expect when we went to do this, but thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was a different experience in a good way and I would recommend for any age. Staff was wonderful. We particularly enjoyed the whimsical drinks. Took us one to one and a half hours. Recommend going during the week.
