This may be a wonder tour. But unfortunately everyone in our group had become ill and it was cold and rainy that night so we did not attend this tour. The only reason for this bad review is that the tour had to be booked and paid for so early and it was not refundable. So we had to spend the maony for 4 tours that we were unable to attend.

Hello Rodger, I am sorry you were not able to attend the tour you booked last minute due to illness. We actually do not require anyone to book far in advance so I am not sure if that was through the tour company you booked? Trip advisor also does not require early booking so I think that might have been your choice? You might be able to look into your travel inusrance if you were sick as that is usually something that can be covered. We have not cancelled any of our tours due to weather. My father is a Marine and as a child I will always remember him telling me "we are not changing our plans we are changing our clothes" Anyway I am sorry you did not come but a guranteed sale is exactly that. Guranteed and nonrefundble to cancelation policy and we have a very generous cancellation policy and only respectfually ask for 24 hour notice so we have the chance to sell the spots which you held.

Our group of 10 thoroughly enjoyed the wagon ride and subsequent dinner. The wagon was provided with blankets, a knowledgeable guide, and a competent team driver. The drive was beautiful and felt authentic and our group of 10 had the wagon to ourselves. The provided dinner was delicious. It was one of our best meals on our 10-day land/cruise tour. I highly recommend this excursion.

What a wonderful experience! Not only did we get to see the Alaskan backcountry, but had the most scrumptious homemade full course meal at the bunkhouse. We even had wine and beer. Our guides were so knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about Alaska. We definitely will be repeat customers.
