Hover Craft Scenic Tour in Talkeetna, Alaska

Hovercrafts are an incredibly unique mode of transportation and an engineering marvel that are amphibious. No other tour can provide what we can do with this vessel.

Very few individuals have ridden on a vessel that literally floats on a 20" pocket of air that makes beach landings from a marine environment.

This 24' x 11' vessel is enclosed with sliding windows and a "Back to the Future" DeLorean-styled hatch door with plenty of cabin space.

Tours are kept to 6 people max to be more personable with the captain and crew giving the tours.

The tour will never be the same 2x! Explore the braided glacial outwash planes while searching for wildlife and adventure!

The Scenery is incredibly breathtaking with narrations about glaciology, geomorphology, and local ecology.

We loved the Hover Craft Tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Alaska. Recommend it highly. Because it was moose season and late in the year when we went we did not see any bear or moose but that was expected. However we say some beautiful eagles, both bald eagles and golden eagles. We also got out of the hover craft at one point on a sand bar and saw some great footprints of bear and wolf in the sand. Awesome tour. Please see the attached pictures.

Amazing time on the hovercraft tour! The crew was very friendly and knowledable and we really enjoyed ourselves. We did the 1.5 hour tour and it was the perfect amount of time. The boat is enclosed and spacious with seating and ample room for everyone. I would highly recommend this tour if you're visiting Talkeetna!
