We booked the excursion through Disney. A Disney guide took us to the meeting point where we picked up our hovercraft not far from the ship. The craft seated up to 10 people I think. We were greeted by a young girl guide that lived in the area and she was a delight and made the trip enjoyable with her knowledge. The captain, once he got the boat to hover showed us the area looking for whales and other wildlife. After a short ride 20 minutes or so he beached the craft on a beach where everyone could get out and walk around. The guide, she had a cooler of fish. We were able to toss the fish in the water and watch the eagles swoop down and get them. We walked the beach and seen a sea cucumber, and other things. After about 20 minutes or so we boarded the craft and headed back to port. The craft is enclosed so you are out of the weather. I really could not tell the difference in a hovercraft and a regular boat on the water. It was a fun and interesting experience.

This was a very unique way to see the scenery and wildlife! We were able to see some harbor seals and humpback whales. Our guides were able to entice a bald eagles to come down from it's perch for a snack. And them we went up onto a beach. This was my favorite part. We went during low tide, so we were able to walk around, take great pictures, and even got to hold a sea urchin and starfish! Highly recommend!!

Great adventure. The staff were extremely pleasant and informative. The small group size made it very enjoyable. The ride was smooth. We were able to see sea lions and bald eagles.
