*Every seat is a window seat! Actual assignment for Open Seating will be determined at checkin and only after completing a proper weight & balance: The pilot sits on the [Left-Front]. Passenger 1 [Front-Center window seat], Passenger 2 [Front-Right window seat], Passenger 3 [Left-Rear window seat], Passenger 4 [Right-Rear window seat].
The following Weight Restrictions require purchasing (1) additional seat: Single Passengers that exceed 240 lbs. or parties of two (2) with a combined weight that exceed 400 lbs. For parties of 4 the maximum combined weight allowed onboard is 745 lbs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our doors off helicopter tour. The staff at Airborne Aviation were fantastic and our pilot, Amy, was so knowledgeable about the island of Kauai. The scenery was breathtaking. Seeing it all by air is something that shouldn’t be missed! Highly recommend!

Since much of Kaua’i is inaccessible, we chose to experience the island from an aerial view. We had the privilege of taking the doors-off helicopter tour with Airborne Aviation, and it was extraordinary. After considering other options, we’re so glad we chose the “Red Ferrari” experience—it exceeded all expectations and provided a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Our first tour was with pilot Amy, a fellow Canadian. Her expertise, friendly demeanor and insightful commentary enhanced the tour. The views of the Manawaiopuna (“Jurassic”) Falls, Waimea Canyon and the stunning turquoise waters, lush green valleys and golden sands of the Na Pali Coast were breathtaking. My mother, who has Alzheimer’s, couldn’t stop talking about the experience, so we returned a couple days later for our second tour with pilot Joe. The encore visit didn’t disappoint. Weather permitting, we were blessed to fly into the blue hole, the weeping wall of Mount Waialeale. Hovering above the crater, Joe’s effortless and precise control of the helicopter was impressive - it was as though time stood still as we were spinning 360° in slow motion. The cascading waterfalls, combined with the breathtaking natural beauty of the crater’s steep walls and tropical vegetation, made the experience serene, magical and exhilarating. Each tour had its own unique beauty, with different perspectives depending on the time of day and weather. Both were equally awe-inspiring. A huge thank you to Jacee and the Airborne Aviation team for making these tours safe, seamless and unforgettable. Their professionalism and passion truly made the experience special. If you’re considering a helicopter tour, I highly recommend this one—it’s about more than just the unparalleled views; it’s about the care and heart behind it.

This doors off helicopter tour over Kauai was even better than I expected. Truly a bucket list experience. Amy showed us the best of Kauai from the sea to the NaPali coast and many valleys and waterfalls. I strongly recommend this tour with Airborne Aviation.
