Enthusiastic and engaging, Dianna provided one of the best tour experiences we've ever had! Pacing was perfect, food was awesome, (tip: do NOT eat before you go on tour, start with an empty stomach, you will definitely be full by the end!) and learned a lot of great history! Extremely enjoyable and highly recommended!

I had an amazing time on our well-organized tour of the Lower East Side with our guide Harry! The tour offers a variety of food stops that reflect the unique history and cultural influences of the LES. From classic Italian cuisine (pesto gnocchi and authentic New York-style pizza!) to one of the best bagels I have ever had and hidden gem Chinese dumplings, we got the chance to sample a diverse range of tastes and flavors that reflect the immigrant communities that have made New York City their home. We were offered a lot of food on the tour so you definitely get a bang for your buck as compared to other NYC food tours that I have taken. One of the tour's highlights is its focus on the stories behind the food. Our knowledgeable guide provided interesting facts about the neighborhood's history and architecture but also shared stories about the immigrants who brought their traditions with them to New York City. This allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the cultural and historical significance of all food that we sampled. The inclusion of the Essex Market on the tour is also a great addition, as it provided us with the opportunity to explore one of the newest NYC food markets. Overall, this tour is an excellent way to explore the Lower East Side's culinary heritage while learning about its fascinating history and culture.

This is not of the best for tours I've taken. Even as a native New Yorker, I was able to learn new things about my city + discover & try new food. I highly recommend this tour!
