Not only will you have the opportunity to catch world class fish, but you will be able to do it in the intracoastal as you get a grand tour of urban Fort Lauderdale. Since the fishing takes place in the protected inshore waters you do not have to worry about getting seasick or having to travel far offshore in rough seas. All of our fishing is with light tackle, which makes the experience much more exciting and allows the angler to feel part of the action. Our main species we target are tarpon (sometimes over 100 pounds), snook, jack crevalle, barracuda, and sharks. We mainly fish with live bait, and most of the action is topwater giving the angler a visual experience. Anglers are welcome to hold the rod or use the rod holder until there is a bite depending on how much anglers want to participate.

Captain Zach, aka Slip Z, was one of the best fishing guides I've ever had. We caught 17 fish during our voyage (a new personal record) and had smiles on our faces the entire time. The fish were biting all night thanks in large part to Zach's expertise. I will be booking another trip ASAP.

Been fishing with Captain Slip for 5+ years now in South Florida. Knows the water better than anyone I know, caught my personal best Tarpon, 180 lbs, during the mullet run a couple years ago. If looking for a good charter in South Florida, he is the guy.

Zach is very knowledgeable and has been fishing the Fort Lauderdale area for the majority of his life. He knows the best spots and times to go fishing, and he always treats me and his other clients with kindness and respect. He never hesitates to answer any of my questions. I’ve caught some pretty big fish with Captain Zach!
