Recommendations #1 - Buy a timed ticket! Shorter lines, quicker access! #2 - Once in, head straight for the Flight level (via stairs or elevator), and get in the line for the Island! And check it out #3 - After doing the Island, check out the Shuttle exhibit, then the Flight deck #4 - Then do the Hangar level, including the Exploreum if you have little ones #5 - Then do the 3rd Marine Berthing level. #6 - Once you finish exploring the Intrepid, make sure you check out the Concord AD exhibit on the pier side. It’s unbelievable that it flew twice as fast as any current jet liner we travel with commercially now..

Wow!!! The intrepid Space Museum is an amazing lance to visit alone or with family. Hadn’t been here in years and I was so impressed with the changes. We loved it all but were so impressed with the interactive Exploreum Hall. They really made this place excited and fun. Highly recommend and worth the coins. You get history, fun and a beautiful view of NYC and Jersey.
