Just north of Palm Springs lies one of nature's majestic creations, Joshua Tree National Park. In the comfort of an enclosed, climate-controlled vehicle your guide will take you on an extensive all paved road tour through the stunning rock formations and otherworldly landscape of the Mojave Desert.
This activity has a 2 person requirement for the tour to run. If you are a single rider, please call first.
NOTICE: EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2025 ALL JOSHUA TREE TOURS WILL REQUIRE GUESTS TO PAY THEIR OWN $15 ENTRY FEE UPON ENTERING THE PARK. ENTRY FEES WILL NO LONGER BE INCLUDED IN THE BIG WHEEL TOURS PRICING. PLEASE COME PREPARED WITH A FORM OF PAYMENT (CREDIT CARD) TO ACCOMMODATE THIS NEW POLICY. THANK YOU!

If I could leave more stars, I would! I can't begin to describe the incredible tour I had of beautiful Joshua Tree National Park on the Big Wheel Driving Tour. First let me start by saying that this was the last day of my solo trip to California and I had to get it right or I wouldn't get another shot at visiting until I made it back to California. I was counting on this being great and it really, really was. It was worth every penny. I was traveling alone and really didn't feel confident driving to the park, handling the tickets, and seeing everything there was to see on my own. I'm sure I could have done it, but for the price - this felt like a bargain. My guide was Kolin. Kolin picket me up in a nice SUV, had snacks ready, and was incredibly personable, fun to chat with and a wealth of knowledge about Joshua Tree and the entire surrounding area. He showed me all of the plants, wild life, rock formations and views that I would have never really noticed on my own. We thankfully didn't see any snakes but he shared photos of snakes he DID see and it was really interesting. Since I was on my own, Kolin also helped me get all of the photos I never would have gotten alone to share with friends and family. We then stopped at the visitor center for a quick shopping trip, snacks and to head back to the meeting point. This was a GREAT experience - far exceeded my expectations and really was the highlight of my trip to Palm Springs.

Ben was an amazing tour guide and was very knowledgeable about everything from geography to the biodiversity of the park. He even gave me rock climbing tips. Highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide was Ben and he is very knowledgeable and is willing to stop for pictures opportunities. He provides historical information on the park and is very knowledgeable on the many Rick formations. When booking your tour ask for Ben. He is awesome.
