We had a wonderful time on our driving tour of Joshua Tree National Park. Isobel, our guide, made the tour very interesting with all of her knowledge.

WOW! What an amazing tour we had with our guide, Ron. His name should actually be "WikiRon". He made what is already an amazing and beautiful place come to life with details and tidbits of information that really made the experience memorable. There are too many places to visit in the park for such a short trip, but Ron was able to eek out the most interesting and beautiful spots, while allowing plenty of time for photos, walks, and views. We focused mainly on the northern part of the Park - which has a pretty lengthy drive just to enter. While on the journey to the park, Ron talked about many interesting aspects of the region, the landscapes, the indigenous peoples and geological formations. Overall, this is a tour that everyone in the region should do at some point, and if you can go with Ron - all the better. Many thanks Ron and Viator

Definitely worth getting up early for as we were the only ones there. It’s so quiet, like another world with all the rocks and of course the Joshua trees!
