Just north of Palm Springs lies one of nature's majestic creations, Joshua Tree National Park. In the comfort of an enclosed, climate-controlled vehicle your guide will take you on an extensive all paved road tour through the stunning rock formations and otherworldly landscape of the Mojave Desert.
This activity has a 2 person requirement for the tour to run. If you are a single rider, please call first.
NOTICE: EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2025 ALL JOSHUA TREE TOURS WILL REQUIRE GUESTS TO PAY THEIR OWN $15 ENTRY FEE UPON ENTERING THE PARK. ENTRY FEES WILL NO LONGER BE INCLUDED IN THE BIG WHEEL TOURS PRICING. PLEASE COME PREPARED WITH A FORM OF PAYMENT (CREDIT CARD) TO ACCOMMODATE THIS NEW POLICY. THANK YOU!

Sometimes booking tours from overseas can be a very scary experience, but not once did we have any issues. Communication and follow ups were efficient and always informative. We were advised of accurate pickup times and they were delivered. Our tour guide, and I hope I get this correct, was Ben. From the moment we were picked up, we were in great hands. Ben is so knowledgable and personal. So much detail that today was not only a few hours spent admiring the beauty of Joshua Tree National Park, we now have a great understanding of it's history. The incredible rock formations, squirrels, remember we are tourists, and overall beauty has left us wanting to return. Thank you Ben and Big Wheel Tours. I really enjoyed this tour. There was only me and one other person, so it was very personalised and great. We went to all the main spots and got some amazing pictures. Tour guide was also great at taking pictures!

My wife and I lucked out and were the only guests on the tour. Our guide, Isabel, customized the tour stops for us. She was very knowledgeable about what plants grow at different altitudes and conditions. Other tourists had left trash (cups, water bottles) in a couple of places. Our guide picked up the trash which demonstrates good stewardship of the land. At the end, we stopped at the wind farm area, and got date shakes. They were great. They taste like carmel.
