We are the only kayak rental company right next to the Kitty Hawk Woods Coastal Preserve. This paddling area is hands down one of the best family ecotours experiences to be had on the islands of the OBX. A beginner friendly environment explores a calm, glassy creek that meanders through the natural glory of one of North Carolina’s largest track of deciduous maritime forest habitat.

We have a flotilla of sit in and sit on top kayaks for your paddling pleasure. We also have specialty fishing kayaks and sea kayaks for the Hard Core paddler.

Best experience for a weekly rental of tandem kayaks and SUP! Easy to navigate website , great pricing , and exceptional delivery service ! Customer service was very pleasant as well. Definitely a satisfied customer! Second year of renting with them will be back again!

They failed to provide the requested kayaks on the first day of the three day rental period. Was told someone should be there to receive the kayaks. No kayaks by 9:00am as promised. Called and told by noon - no kayaks. Called again and told they had till 3:00pm to provide them but should be there by 5:00pm. No kayaks. Kayak's were eventually delivered to a neighbors' house. The address was clearly marked on both units so it would be hard to confuse them. Ordered "sit-in" kayaks but got seaweed covered "ride-on-tops." Contacted office several times to express my dissatisfaction with the products and service but received nothing but hollow apologies and a phantom number to call. "Manager" never returned my calls. Was charged full price for a three day rental for "sit-in" kayaks even though we only had them two days and "ride-on-tops" are less expensive to rent according to their website. They did not provide the services they promised on their website and their customer service is truly awful. Use them at your own risk....

Great people to work with. Equipment is in great shape and reasonably priced. If I didn't have my own kayak and live on the sound I would definitely try one of their tours. Just talking to them I know they are very knowledgeable and the tour would be fun. Enjoy
