During a stop ashore, your knowledgeable guide will lead a short nature walk highlighting the flora and fauna of the rainforest, including a carnivorous plant, the Sundew, which uses it’s tentacles to ensnare small insects. After paddling back, guests re-board the motorcoach and return to the cruise ship pier.

Me and my brother decided to do this excursion instead of a trolley tour and we are so glad we did. The experience was excellent and once in a lifetime. The views of the lake and the forest were phenominal. The canoe itself wasn't too cramped and rowing wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. I wanna give a special shout out to Colt because he did a fantastic job. He was informative and funny. I don't think the trip would have been as good as it was without him.

An excellent blend between a canoe trip in a pristine temperate rainforest and a nature walk by a very knowledgeable and fun guide. A nice warm snack in the middle was just what we needed as well, cooked by a companion guide. A great value for the money. Ellie, our exuberate guide, was all you could want in a nature guide.

My husband and I found this excursion on our Alaskan Cruise through NCL. Colt and Ellie made the experience so much fun! Their knowledge of the environment, plants, wildlife, and history was outstanding!! Their energy and humor had us laughing! This was my first time in a canoe, so no worries on difficulty, they made it all very safe and easy! This excursion was one of my favorites!
