Your adventure starts with a van ride to the north end of Ketchikan to beautiful Clover Pass. You will be welcomed and led down to our waterfront facility and introduced to your tandem kayak and get a safety briefing from your guide.

My family and I (six of us) had a fantastic excursion! What started out as rainy cleared up and after a choppy Zodiac ride with Captain Tim, the sun broke out! Saw several jellies and star fish in the water and numerous eagles. Shout out to Dani and Captain Tim for their hospitality, guidance, and pleasant demeanor. Great pictures from Captain Tim. Highly recommend taking this excursion. Can't go wrong with Southeast Exposure Outdoor Adventure Center.

We wanted something simple but outdoors to do in Ketchikan. This offered just enough activity to be doing something but not over doing. We booked direct through their website and not only much cheaper, we ended up as the only 4 in our group. Tyler did a great job getting us setup and on the water. We started right at low tide and we got to see an amazing amount of sea life on the rocks. He knew the places to look for eagles, sea cucumbers and seals. It was raining a bit and the sea skirts provided were essential.

We lucked out with a beautiful sunny day, with just a sprinkle at the end for our tour! Before we even got started we were able to see a group of four humpback whales bubble netting near Eagle Island - a positive sign! Our guides Trevin and Greg were knowledgeable and fun, leading us on our tour around the harbor. We saw two types of starfish, two types of jellyfish, a harbor seal and eagles, of course! This was one of our favorite excursions during our Alaska cruise. Highly recommend if you like interactive outdoor activities. (Our group consisted of myself (48) and children/nieces ages 18-24.)
