From our sun deck, you will have a panoramic offshore view of the Florida Keys and can view the ever-changing colors of the Atlantic Ocean. Once we reach the reef, you will be able to observe the coral reef through our large viewing windows, which are large enough for everyone to observe the reef at the same time and are located along the center of the boat and installed flat so there is no distortion other than what nature creates. Everything you see on our tour is or was alive and the reef itself is built off of many varieties of living coral and teems with an assortment of sea life. Your tour guide will be able to point out all kinds of sea creatures which may include sea fans, sea plumes and hundreds of fish ranging from small tropical to larger species sought after by local fishermen.

It was a beautiful day in Key Largo on March 28 so we decided to do a boat trip. Parking was easy, short walk to the Princess but I wouldn't recommend trying the walk in a wheelchair nor if you have bad knees or bad back. I am not a doctor but I suffer from pain in both areas and this trip was very rough on me. The stairs to the top deck were awful for me to get up to; same with coming back down the stairs. One of the crew members was very kind to help me down. Other than that, I loved it. I was fortunate to find a seat in the back. The ride out to the Reef was great! We passed the beautiful waterfront homes with their boats on display, the canals, the Tiki huts, the birds flying over us and finally we reached the Reef. Please bring a hat and sunscreen as it gets very hot out on the ocean! You can get drinks on board. Passengers were doing that and milling about. Note: no one was wearing a mask nor was social distancing observed on the boat. We practiced our own safety rules as much as possible. We did not catch covid. We did not see any sea life but we saw the limestone reefs. It was so beautiful out there and we would do this trip again. The crew was great! Bringing a hat next time and checking Groupon.

Astrid, thank you for the 4 star rating, if you are suffering from back or any other pain then no a boat trip is not for you as boating is considered a sport and the natural because of jarring when any boat encounters waves but you know your body the best and should know what you can and can't handle. Sorry to hear that King Neptune did not put on a show for you.

I booked through TripAdvisor. On the business’s site, there were still 3 openings for the 1 pm trip. The next morning, hours prior to our trip…business called me to say they had overbooked and wanted to move us to a different day. This is the last day of our trip. She said they had overbooked the 4 pm trip, too. Full refund in process. Total disappointment immediate.

Sorry for the bad experience you had with us due to a system glitch we had two different booking pages booking and not talking to each other....

We were disappointed since we could not see much thru the glass bottom once we arrived to the coral reef. Being overcast that day may have contributed to the poor visibility.

Kitty thank you for taking the time to rate your trip with us sorry that King Neptune did not put on a good show for you, that's the problem when work with nature you never know if any of the performers are going to show up.
