Florida Keys

From our sun deck, you will have a panoramic offshore view of the Florida Keys and can view the ever-changing colors of the Atlantic Ocean. Once we reach the reef, you will be able to observe the coral reef through our large viewing windows, which are large enough for everyone to observe the reef at the same time and are located along the center of the boat and installed flat so there is no distortion other than what nature creates. Everything you see on our tour is or was alive and the reef itself is built off of many varieties of living coral and teems with an assortment of sea life. Your tour guide will be able to point out all kinds of sea creatures which may include sea fans, sea plumes and hundreds of fish ranging from small tropical to larger species sought after by local fishermen.

Crew was great! No complaints. Boat was good but know your history of coral. Hard to see coral through the glass for the most part but know that’s the best that can be done. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. I will say that it was difficult for my father, age 80, to maneuver around boat once boat got into deeper waters due to the waves and higher seas.

Great ride out and back in. 30 minutes over the reed. Got to see a few fish and vegetation. Snacks and drinks on sale. No food or drinks in the downstairs virwimg area so get them as soon as you broad so you can finish them. Decent viewing area. Kids can sit and look.

We have always wanted to take a glass bottom boat tour and we thought this one out of Key Largo would be the best. We enjoyed the boat ride out to the reef, the water was amazingly beautiful being an azure turquois blue, just gorgeous. The crew was really fun and we were treated as special guests by Tim which made the trip even more memorable. However, that day the water was really choppy out on the reef, so trying to see anything through the glass bottom while floating over the corals was difficult because the boat was rocking and rolling in the 3 foot swells. We didn't spend much time below deck viewing the ocean through the glass bottom because we were getting sea sick, even with the Dramamine we took beforehand, so most of our time was spent up on deck. So, if you like boat rides on the ocean you will enjoy this tour, but don't go for the glass bottom feature, as it's hard to see much of anything through it.
