From our sun deck, you will have a panoramic offshore view of the Florida Keys and can view the ever-changing colors of the Atlantic Ocean. Once we reach the reef, you will be able to observe the coral reef through our large viewing windows, which are large enough for everyone to observe the reef at the same time and are located along the center of the boat and installed flat so there is no distortion other than what nature creates. Everything you see on our tour is or was alive and the reef itself is built off of many varieties of living coral and teems with an assortment of sea life. Your tour guide will be able to point out all kinds of sea creatures which may include sea fans, sea plumes and hundreds of fish ranging from small tropical to larger species sought after by local fishermen.

The boat trip was disappointing. Through advertisements, you are led to believe that you will be seeing Christ of the Deep, but once out at the coral reefs, we were told that this sculpture was in another area that was too shallow to access by boat. Not much marine life to see.

Rita, thank you for taking the time to rate our trip, however none of our advertising promotes or even pictures Christ of the Abyss, now perhaps you confused some of the snorkel boats or perhaps even the state parks advertisements but we do not advertise or promote going to see the statue in anyway shape or form on our boat the Key Largo Princess.

I wanted to like this more than I did. We enjoyed the boat ride but there really wasn't much to see once we got to the reef. It all kind of looked the same, a hazy green color. You couldn't really look down much either without feeling nauseous. On the way back we did see a sea turtle and some jellyfish from the top deck. I'd suggest this if you want a nice boat ride but if you want to see the reef there are better ways to do it.

The crew was very friendly & so knowledgeable about the area, ocean & reef. There were only 8 of us & they still took us out to sea, even though they could canceled due to low volume. It was windy with a chance of rain but was a great way to view the ocean & reef. Take the Dramamine just in case the waves get choppy
