Florida Keys

From our sun deck, you will have a panoramic offshore view of the Florida Keys and can view the ever-changing colors of the Atlantic Ocean. Once we reach the reef, you will be able to observe the coral reef through our large viewing windows, which are large enough for everyone to observe the reef at the same time and are located along the center of the boat and installed flat so there is no distortion other than what nature creates. Everything you see on our tour is or was alive and the reef itself is built off of many varieties of living coral and teems with an assortment of sea life. Your tour guide will be able to point out all kinds of sea creatures which may include sea fans, sea plumes and hundreds of fish ranging from small tropical to larger species sought after by local fishermen.

Nice ride out & back. But was assured there would not be a full boat due to Covid. First thing crew said was it was a full boat. Not much was seen at the reef.

Thank you for your review. I can assure you the safety of our crew and passengers is our Number 1 priority and we continue to follow the safety procedures for Covid When the crew announced the "Full Boat" it meant we were full to our new passenger count of 60 as opposed to the 140 we are certified to carry. We do hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in the Florida Keys.

We had done this glass bottom trip years ago and had time and opportunity again. The 4pm trip time is great timing with the sunset in December. The trip out and back to Molasses Reef is wonderful cruise past amazing homes along finger canals on way to the Atlantic Ocean. The crew is friendly and helpful. The snack bar and drinks are pretty good. The 4p trip is happy hour with a dollar off drinks. The narration over the reef is great and informative. My issue with the glass bottom part of trip is the boat moves too fast over the reef to see much. Not sure why it can't just stop at times and see a spot over one reef section to see the fish and see what swims by. Too much blur of moving over reef. Maybe the rules don't allow stopping??? It would be better though in my opinion. Watching the sunset on the return trip was fantastic! Weather was perfect on this day.

Decent bar selection and views along the way. When over the reef the narration from the crew was amazing. Great info about the reef and wildlife. We had rather rough seas so the visibility was not that great but that was no fault of the tour. Bathrooms on board and drink service ($$) offered throughout.
