Key West Ghost and Mysteries Tour
Check-in for the ghost tour is no later than 8:45 at the corner of Duval and Caroline Street in front of the Porter Mansion on the Duval Street side. There is a small booth just at the entrance to the property, at the beginning of the 300 block of Duval Street, and that is where you will do your check-in. At 9pm the guide will depart and walk you down Rose Lane for an introduction to the tour which includes some Key West history, terminology used when talking about different spirit sightings, instructions on how to take pictures, and general guidelines. Key West is Florida's second oldest city and one of the most haunted locations in the country. From Rose Lane you will walk to the end of the block stopping at the Casa Antigua, Ernest Hemingway's first Key West residence where he fell in love with Key West and wrote "A Farewell to Arms". You will hear what happened in this interesting building and the ghostly story about The Watcher. The tour then moves up to Eaton Street to the Artist House where you will hear the story of the creepy, Robert the Doll and see where he used to live. Next the tour moves to Bahama Street where the oldest graveyard is located in back of Saint Paul's Church. You are invited to use the dowsing rods at this point to try to engage spirit activity. Just past the graveyard is the Dean-Lopez Funeral Home. This stop is where the strange tale of Count Von Cosel and Elana is related. This story is stranger than fiction, but it's all true and documented. You now will wind back around to the La Concha Hotel and hear what happened at the tallest building in Key West. It's a ghostly tale, but not what you probably think. Next the tour moves to the Oldest House and Gardens to explore the grounds at the back of the house, and hear stories about the family who lived here and learn about the many ghostly sightings. This is the most active location on the tour and many guests get pictures on their cameras. Finally, the tour moves inside to hear the chilling tale of a prominent Key West family at their former residence. As the tour concludes, there is time for stories and picture sharing. The tour is interactive and questions are encouraged. The tour ends at 10:30 across the street from where it started.

We went on this tour with Yvonne. Very good night. I find that good ghost tours are all about setting the mood, telling the history of an area with a lean towards the weird, and getting to see places that you would not normally see when walking, or seeing places in a different light. Yvonne did all of this excellently from start to finish - from the Count to Robert the doll to the theatre to the Hard Rock. No over the top theatrics needed, no dressing up - just a great tour.

Save your money! I haven't tried Ghost and Gravestones Trolley but it has to be more entertaining than this one. I just participated in your Ghost & Mysteries Tour, it was the one that began at 9pm this evening (Monday 09.16.13). The guide (I don't remember her name, she is the one with red hair) seemed very unprepared and not very knowledgeable. She was very quiet we could hardly hear her speak and she seemed unsure of the stories she was telling. Definitely not the "Master Storytellers" you mention in your advertisements. This tour was the worst tour I have ever attended. It was so bad that our party of 4 left during the rambling talk during the 3rd site at the funeral home. We were at this site for over 30 minutes when we left and the guide was still not finished with the story, it just went on and on and on.....truly the most horrifically boring event I have ever attended. In my opinion this guide was totally unprepared for her role. We paid approx. $80.00 for our party of 4, For that price I was expecting to be entertained, and what we got was AWFUL. The most awful experience in Key West. We were greeted by "Patrick" who seemed very intoxicated, then met our guide who is very unprepared and not at all excited to be there. This tour is a joke and your company lacks professionalism. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE A waste of money. Absolutely no entertainment value whatsoever.

I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your Ghost Tour. That must have been very disappointing for you; however, you have posted this review to the wrong Ghost Tour. We have never had anyone work for us named Patrick, and we've never had a tour guide with red hair. There are several Ghost Tours in Key West, and I hope the next time you're in Key West, you'll join us for an exciting adventure into the unknown.

Southernmost Ted was a great tour guide. This is a great thing to do, not just for the possibility of seeing something strange, but because no matter what your experience with the supernatural, you still get some pretty cool history of Key West/ Key Weird. Keep your eyes/ears/senses open when you get to the theater. That's all I'm gonna say.
