The crew was the best part of this excursion. They were attentive, especially to the kids, and it was obvious that safety, not making money, was the priority. They were excellent with my young kids (I had a 6, 8, and 10 year old). My 10 year old was not very excited about SNUBA once she got very seasick on the way to the site, but our guide, Emily, managed to get her in the water (which was WAY colder than I anticipated; bring your own 5 mm wetsuit if you have one because a 3/2 was not enough for us in December) and then she had a really good time. My 8 year old refused to go in, so she got to hang out with the captain while we did SNUBA. My 6 year old lost her tooth in the ocean and they managed to turn it into something positive for her, telling her how special it was that she left treasure in the ocean instead of taking it. As for the SNUBA, it was a good intro for my 10 year old. I'm already PADI certified, so this was a bit of a step-down for me in terms of freedom of moving around. The site itself is nice, a perfect depth for SNUBA because it wasn't very deep before you were at the reef and could see a lot of fish. Unfortunately for us, we did not see the shark or sea turtle the other group from our ship happened upon, but maybe you'll be luckier than we were. We saw plenty of snappers, parrot fish, and some jellyfish though. Visibility was decent. Overall, it was an excellent excursion. A little cold for me, so I'll know to bring a thicker wetsuit if I snorkel/dive in Florida again. I was so impressed with this crew and how they run this experience. Very family oriented, really safe, and above and beyond service oriented. Great company.

My boyfriend and I can’t quit talking about how fun our SNUBA tour was with CJ and Kevin. We chose the morning trip on a Sunday Dec 1st. We arrived at the boat slip at check in time - the location was easy to find with the directions they provided in the email. We were greeted by CJ and Kevin who helped us get set up with all necessary equipment (snorkel, goggles, weight belt, fins, and regulator). We found out we were getting the VIP treatment as it was just a tour of 4 people. The 22’ Grady White boat was the perfect size for everyone and the bean bags made for a very comfy trip out to Eastern Dry Rocks, about 7 nautical miles off the coast of Key West. As we set out for the reef CJ gave an informative orientation on equipment and communication. You can tell he is a very experienced diver and he made sure everyone understood and was comfortable with instructions. Even those in the group who were not confident swimmers. Once we tied up to a buoy and the dive flag was up we hopped into the cool, Florida waters to snorkel around and get comfortable in the water. Once the SNUBA equipment was set up we got fitted with our regulator and weight belts and we were off to explore the EDR reef system. Not going to lie, at first my boyfriend and I thought we would just be exploring the sea bottom which was lovely itself just not like the pictures we seen online. However, once we came upon the large reef formations and rocks we were blown away. I have been snorkeling before and have never had the chance to explore under the waters and get so close to the reef and fish. Always remembering to not touch, stand, or otherwise harm the reef. SNUBA is the perfect way to get up close and personal with corals, fish, and all other sea life imaginable and get your feet wet with SNUBA/SCUBA related activities. We also opted to purchase the pictures taken on our tour and were not disappointed. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism, knowledge, friendliness, and quality of the tour. My boyfriend and I are already planning our next trip to the keys to get certified with SNUBA of Key West. 👌🤙

Very professionally ran, equipments all up to date and instructions very clear and easy to follow. Was very nervous being my first time, instructor CJ calmed my nerves and we continued on. Went out and saw 2 reef sharks and about 10 barracudas, water clear and very blue! At one point we got as close as less then 5 feet to it! Big shoutout to the captain, Charles the photographer, and of course the instructor CJ! 10/10 experience, highly recommend.
