Водопады Кохала с эксклюзивным вертолетным туром

Обзор
Depart from Waikoloa on a once-in-a-lifetime tour. From lush tropical rainforest to dry, desert-like land, the Kohala coast has some of the most beautiful scenery on the Big Island.

Get a birds eye view of beautiful waterfalls cascading thousands of feet into the rainforest below, where remnants of ancient Hawaiian settlements are still visible. Named after the oldest volcanic mountain, the Kohala Mountains dominate the area and are considered by many to be the most spectacular landscape in Hawaii.

The ultimate add on to your tour, take in the absolute wonder as your pilot descends amongst the lush flora and fauna along 1,200 foot cliffs to a grassy landing pad. Step out of your helicopter at the edge of a fresh water pool and the thundering waterfall.

Enjoy the multitude of cascading waterfalls and serene landscape of the mile-wide valley. Hear about the history of this majestic area from your helicopter pilot through your noise-canceling headsets

This was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Hawaii! Our pilot was very professional and a font of knowledge. Answered all questions and had a calm and confident demeanour that assured nervous travellers in our group. We explored fantastic areas of the island - deep valleys and tall cascading waterfalls that can only be seen from a helicopter. Felt like we were on the set of Jurassic Park! This was not a cheap excursion, but wow, was it worth every penny! Highly recommend! You won't know what you would miss until you see it!

Brilliant! This was our fifth time on Blue Hawaiian, however first time with the Kohala "Landing" feature. Cam was our pilot and what a magnificent job he did maneuvering the chopper through the stunning valleys and precision landing at the base of the waterfall. The interactive flight session and visibility through the panoramic windows was superb. This is a very romantic tour and one not to be missed seeing our beautiful Kohala Coast Line and seven valleys of majestic vistas. Alissa checked us in and Cam took excellent care of us and made sure we were happy and enjoying our tour with Blue Hawaiian. We had guests from Laguna Beach of which one was a first time helicopter flyer. They both were extremely impressed with the tour. Outstanding! Mahalo Nui Loa D.Schultz Kailua Kona

What makes for a truly memorable and breathtaking helicopter tour of the Big Island? Just ask our pilot Greg. It was his masterful flying and communication that made this by far the best heli tour ever (and I’ve been on quite a few). As a Professor of Educational Psychology, I know a few things about how to engage learners Pilot Greg deserves an honorary PhD in Education. He was explicit about the rules with clearly-stated explanations about what was required, why, and how to use the various safety equipment. As we flew over the still simmering and smoldering volcano, he explained with pinpoint accuracy the history of the volcanic activity on the island, the series of recent volcanic events, and the current status of Mauna Kea. We saw the earth evolve with lava! Greg punctuated the learning with chatting with the passengers. Myself, my friend from London, and two lovely nurse anesthetists from New Orleans. He fostered a true sense of group esprit de corps and we all found ourselves is perfect harmony. The lively conversations never deterred from the sightseeing. Greg knew where to find whales and dolphins. When he spotted a boat on the northern side of the island, he explained that this was a sure indicator of unusually calm seas. Eventually we landed in front of a very steep and majestic waterfall. As we walked about the small grassy/rocky area, the comradery was even more wonderful. Greg shared a bit about his family and the four passengers spoke about familiar themes that engaged the whole group. We took group shots and Greg shot a selfie of all of us. Was the 2+ hour flight expensive? Absolutely. But it was replete with wonderful memories and new friendships. Make this investment in a lifetime memory.
