Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!

Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.

Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.
25-30 minutes of water time
50 minutes includes travel by boat time as well

Recently went with a group of friends to check out the Manta Rays. We had a small group of 6 and the team was very friendly and informative. The Manta Rays were insanely large, beautiful, and friendly and we had a great time. A must when visiting the Big Island!

My husband and I took my almost 82 year old mother on this adventure. It is a small intimate group of 6 people. We all had a wonderful time and really enjoyed seeing Queenie and Victoria.

My husband and I did a lot of research on the manta night snorkel before ultimately booking with “My Kona Adventures.” 1st) we wanted a short trip to see the mantas. Check. The boat literally took us around the corner from the pier at Keauhou harbor to the front of the Sheraton—Kona. We immediately put on our gear and got in the water 2nd) we wanted an ideal place with a high percentage. Check. This company guarantees it. If the mantas are not interested in plankton at Keauhou bay, the captain promised to take us further out to sea. It was not necessary on this trip. We went out at 7 pm. There were only 2 mantas but they put on quite a show for us. It was a wonderful experience thanks to both the Captain and our fabulous in-water guide: Shannon. She was so knowledgeable and knew each of the mantas by name. Impressive. Finally, 3rd) we wanted a small boat. There were only 5 guests on our boat. No frills. So: no sunset cruise, no hot chocolate or warm showers like some others provide. But totally not necessary for a short trip. We were provided wet suits and snorkel gear but the water is quite warm and only max 20 feet deep in the Harbour. If we had gone out deeper they probably would come in handy. This company was top notch. We would highly recommend. Once in a lifetime experience. Don’t miss it!!
