Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!

Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.

Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.
25-30 minutes of water time
50 minutes includes travel by boat time as well

The Manta Ray Night Snorkel was an EXCELLENT experience! We were able to watch Vicky & Queeny doing their feeding dance so close that they sometimes touched us!

We were incredibly disappointed when we got the runaround by a different night manta ray snorkelling company and had to cancel. We were so glad we didn’t give up on the idea to do this excursion while on the Big Island! The staff from start to finish were friendly, fantastic and knowledgeable and the experience was great for us and our 2 kids. Had probably 10-12 sightings...several times within a couple feet of us and one even touched my son. Saw several other smaller fish as well. Don’t waste your time with other operators...My Kona Adventures are the real deal!

This tour was absolutely amazing and loved every second! I have been wanting to swim with manta rays at night and My Kona Adventures was an awesome company to work with. I purchased a groupon with some friends. It did take some time when first booking to get ahold of someone but leave a message and they will call back quickly. WIth groupon you can only choose certain times. We chose the 720pm boat which was perfect. We walked from the Sheraton down to the Marina and waited to board bus for departure. We were on boat for maybe 3 minutes, got into water, held onto light and the marine biologist took us to Manta Rays. They were everywhere and huge also! He told us not to be scared as the manta rays come close and may touch you when flipping around. It was an awesome experience. He gave us so much info which was easy to listen to while we were watching in water. If you are looking for something to do, I would highly recommend this company! You will not be disappointed at all. Looking to head back again for another adventure! Staff had great customer service!
