Our guides, Sabrina and Franky, were good-natured, caring, and full of snarky jokes. They led us through the surf and out to the caves, stopping once in a while to tell us stories about the area and the history of the caves, cliff, and some history of La Jolla.
The surf was mild that day. The weather was lovely, and tide was low. The paddling was much easier than I thought it would be. I can imagine rougher conditions to be much more challenging though.
The 10-second challenge at the end was fun.
