We tried the kayaking out to Seal Rock and it was great. Friendly guides who knew their stuff, good kit and well organised. We took out 7 and 10 year olds. We loved going out to see the sea lions and fish, we even saw some Dolphins on our trip. Highly recommended.

My husband, daughter, and I had never kayaked before (and I was a little nervous). Our guides were extremely informative and provided easy to understand directions. Once on the water, they provided so many interesting facts and humorous anecdotes while always being attentive to our needs. The last 10-15 minutes of our tour, I realized I forgot my dramamine when I started to experience motion sickness. The guides quickly picked up on how I was feeling and one of the guides went back with me and my husband while the rest finished up. He was extremely courteous and understanding of how I was feeling and never made me feel bad about it. Safety remained paramount and he calmly guided me back to shore. Thankfully, I did not get sick and felt better once on land. Even with the queasiness, I absolutely loved the experience and my family felt it was the best part of our Laguna Beach trip. We would definitely book with them again.

I took my middle school aged daughter on the Kayak Tour and even though we did not see any sea lions, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The beach where we launched the kayaks was extremely peaceful, the guide was excellent, the tour was relaxing and the scenery was so beautiful. La Vida was professional, on time and easy to book from start to finish. I highly recommend using them.
