Our group did the tour with Keith and his team this past Fall. The places they took us was magnificent to see. Not everyone was photographers and many had not been to the area before. Was great having someone show us the sights and talk about the history of the area. Everyone really enjoyed the tour. The advise they gave us beginner photographers was very helpful too. REALLY recommend this to anyone who comes to Lake Tahoe.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone going to the Tahoe area seek out Tahoe Photographic Tours. When I called the week before to reserve a spot on Tahoe Photographic Tours' calendar I had no idea what I was in for. My wife and I needed a getaway and she suggested I go on a tour of Tahoe, as I'm the photographer in the family. Keith Price, the owner, called back a couple of days before our trip to find learn our interests and make the arrangements. We scheduled our trip for Tuesday morning, the 3rd day of our stay in South Lake Tahoe. Sunday evening, we got a call from Keith, suggesting we go out and shoot some pictures, as the weather was great, and he just wanted to do so. He encouraged my wife to go, too, as what we would see and do was not just for photographers. Keith loves the Tahoe area and it shows in his excitement about showing it to you. He picked us up in a very nice 4x4 Ford Expedition and began the tour. It began well, as Keith, well-known in the area, was shooting with a camera identical to mine. There was no intimidation from Keith, as he showed us beautiful scenery and tips on how to make my photos great. He had great advise. We drove to a couple of smaller lakes where the scenery was breathtaking, pointing out the celebrity homes along the way, and telling us stories of the area. We were taken to Taylor Creek, where the salmon were making their way upstream to spawn. There we saw bald eagles, merganser, tundra swans and going back later, a bear. Now, this wasn't just watching a bear from a long ways off, this was photographing a bear eating salmon out of the creek like you see on National Geographic! The photos Keith took of my wife and I were great. We will remember the fun times we had in Tahoe, not just by the photos, but by the new friend we have in South Lake Tahoe. Oh, and the photos...beautiful! Despite the people in them. Keith went waaay out of his way to take better care of us than we could have ever imagined. The personal service was beyond what anyone would expect from a business that deals with all kinds of people, difficult and friendly. Thanks, Keith, for all you do, for your love of Tahoe, photography, and people. You really do have new friends back in Missouri. Come visit us when you can.

This tour is a must! In the four hours I had, Keith and Robin showed me the most magnificent vistas, natural wonders and a selection of incredible places in full Fall glory. The pictures are spectacular and the perfect way to share my trip with my family when I got home. I was in town on business and didn't have much time. I couldn't imagine leaving without seeing more than just a hotel. Robin made sure that she fitted me into their schedule even though I was on my own. This was the prefect way to spend a free afternoon. I addition to the magnificent scenery, I saw my first eagle, got my picture taken on a rock in the lake, and saw thousands of salmon spawning in a creek strewn with beaver-felled trees. I'll be back on vacation to explore the Lake, the mountains and the town and you bet I won't miss taking this tour again. It is different each time and I will want to visit my new friends in Tahoe.
