I have twin 14yo nephew's, one of which is autistic. I was torn between the lower side being too easy and the upper side being too advanced. I choose the lower and we were paired with another group of 4 teenagers. The guide was AMAZING!! He really made an effort to make an easy rafting trip into something more. He was playful with the kids and we had splashing fights with other rafts. Truly a wonderful experience. My nephew's both said it was the highlight of the trip and want to come back.
There were changing rooms, showers, bathroom. All were well maintained. Make sure to bring $2 for the lockers. I put everything in the car except glasses, wallet and keys. YOU WILL get wet, don't fool yourself!!! You will need a way to keep up with the locker key. Luckily my swimsuit had a velcro pocket in the waistband. The locker keys also have a clip so you can put it on a belt loop or even on the life jacket.
