The idea of doing this cruise was a good one; in reality much of it was marred by the incredibly high number of people vomiting. PLEASE take anti-nausea medication in advance even if you think you'll be okay. Some people had wrist bands or were trying ginger candy and peppermint essential oils... they didn't work.
The coastal views were amazing! We were able to see whales and dolphins and an absolutely stunning sunset. However, the most memorable part of the trip was trying to avoid seeing so many people getting sick. The boat crew worked their tails off keeping everyone comfortable and cleaned up--they were absolutely professional and caring. For the evening I was on the cruise, there were larger swells for most of the time, which contributed to people not feeling well. Perhaps a calmer ocean would have made the adventure a better experience. I am still giving the experience a high rating because the tour and crew were great.
The idea of having dinner onboard, near the end, was an absolute "no". The crew came around periodically, offering drinks and snacks which was nice.
I am glad I booked the boat tour, but would not want to do it again with so many people.
