Sail in luxury on a 44-ft catamaran yacht! We are one of the only sailing catamaran charters in Maine, and our luxurious yacht makes for a relaxing and fun experience. Our catamaran is stable and does not bounce in waves, providing for a much more comfortable sail than other boats. The yacht boasts five different seating areas, including three dining areas and trampolines to lie on as you watch the sea ripple below you. Relax in luxury, savor the coastline, and watch for seals, whales, and bald eagles. Enjoy a romantic sunset cruise, host a cocktail party, jump off the boat into the gorgeous Saco River, or simply relax as we sail past lighthouses and lush marshland. You are welcome to bring your own food and cocktails on the boat. While we offer public tours for up to six people at a time, you can also rent out the boat for private tours, which will hold up to ten people comfortably. We are owner operated, so we take great care that every aspect of your adventure with us is flawless..

My wife and I have been on several trips with Bimini Charters in Downeast Maine including Camden, Monhegan Island, and Penobscot Bay. S/V Liberty is a well-appointed, spotlessly clean and spacious catamaran. Nils is an experienced Captain who will customize the itinerary to guarantee a wonderful trip. Great anchorages, smooth seas and great sunsets. Ashley is an exceptional first mate and a trained French chef. She created healthy meals while keeping in mind our food preferences. Each meal was a culinary delight! We are looking forward to a week in the Bahamas in May (fingers crossed) and two weeks Downeast in Maine summer 2020. We would highly recommend Bimini Charters for week long charters, day trips, or sunset cruises.

I have sailed with Bimini Charters in both Maine and the British Virgin Islands (BVIs). I cannot say enough good things about my trips with them. Ashley and Nils are consummate hosts who go the extra mile to their ensure guests have an exceptional experience – whether they’re taking you on a 3-hour sunset cruise or weeklong charter. They are very attentive, yet easy going. I never once had a worry. They took care of everything. On top of that, Ashley is an excellent cook. When you combine those things with a beautiful catamaran, it’s the formula for the perfect escape. I can’t wait to plan another trip with them!

Ashley and Nils were the perfect hosts for a weeklong charter in the British Virgin Islands. The itinerary was carefully planned and well executed during the week. I have been to the BVI many times and they were able to show me a few places I have Never seen. The snorkeling at the Indians was a highlight for sure! They provided everything we needed for the week and we only had to bring bathing suits. The breakfast that Ashley prepared every morning was delicious and she was able to accommodate many dietary preferences. The cabins each have their own bathroom and that was a very sweet accommodation! I would highly recommend Bimini Charters for any type of Sailing- half day, full day or week long. I can’t wait to sail with them again!
