Historical commentary was very good. Enjoyed the stop under the bridge to see cars going over. Great photo op. Friendly crew and passengers. A few too many people on the boat is the only reason I am taking off a star. Beautiful even though too cloudy too see sunset.

I am pretty sure there was no sunset you could see on September 16th, it was cold, windy and waters were very rough, emailed both companies asking for a refund heard nothing back from either. Would not book anything with either company again!

Hello, I am sorry you were not able to make it out with us on the sunset cruise on September 16. I can assure you there was a beautiful sunset, and the 25 other people that joined us had a lovely trip. To address your concerns: -The temperatures were normal for the time of year. -The winds were approximately 12 MPH at the time of departure, which is well within the range of being safe for our vessel. Also, the weather service had not issued any advisories or warnings for our area. Our boat weighs 20tons, and is 40ft long, so she handled the chop on the water that evening with ease. I am curious why you are saying we did not email you back as I have sent you 4 emails with you responding to all of them. I cannot speak for Viator, but have never heard a complaint about them in the past. If you would like to see pictures of the sunset that evening, feel free to check out our facebook page as we posted a couple there. Unfortunately we do not issue refunds within 24 hours of the cruise or if a person does not show up for the cruise. We hope you enjoyed your time in Mackinaw City
