Andres was our guide. He gave clear directions to help make kayaking fun and safe. He took his time on our tour and was very upbeat and friendly. We got to enjoy kayaking and snorkeling at two spots. He helped my young nephew feel confident getting out of the kayaking in deeper water and swimming. We saw lots of turtles. It was a fantastic time!

I am sure it would have been a great trip if we went on it. They called to cancel our trip 40 minutes before the start of the tour. We were staying an hour away so were already on the road and did not bring our phone as we did not want it to get wet or leave it in the car. They said that one of their vehicles broke down the day before and did not get fixed in time. I know these things happen and would have been totally understanding but I expect a heads up--not a call 40 minutes before the trip when the vehicle broke down the day before. I do not see why they could not have texted us the night before letting us know. Others went on the tour--just not us. I assume we were chosen to be excluded because we were a party of 4 with kids. If we got the call the night before then we would not have woken up our kids at the crack of dawn to drive an hour and then be turned away. So disappointing. They did refund us our money, of course, promptly.

We absolutely loved our 4 hour tour with John. He was so knowledgeable about kayaking, snorkeling and the ecosystem. He gave clear instructions and demonstrated how to enter and exit the kayaks while snorkeling. He also provided all snorkeling gear and explained tips to have the best mask fit, kick stroke and breathing. What made this amazing was John’s passion for what he does. We watched other tours and John by far was most charismatic and genuine. We saw tons of turtles, sea caves and reef life. Would recommend and will come back because of John’s service and love of Maui.
