We stayed at one of the POD hotels. I've already searched for some nice excursions / things2do. Streetwise was one of them. During the week there are 3 walks to do. We did all :). Tuesday Chinatown! Great walk with Dan as our guide. Seen al the nice places the normal tourist wouldn't see. Great place to eat....Vanessa's Dumplings :). WE've been back for the great sesame pancakes with PekingDuck!!! Thursday a walk trough Brooklyn. Unfortunatly it was a bit cloudy but the streetart which can be found here makes it a great day. After the walk Dan helped us to find a address. Great job Dan!!! Friday, last day in NYC. Last walk to Greenwich and the MeatPackingDistrict also with Dan. Great guy with a lot of information about al these neighbourhoods! If you're around sleep at POD and do the walking tours!. Great places, great guys and it's for free(!!!) when you stay at POD.

As an introductory tour to New York I was very impressed with this tour provided by my hotel Pod51. I had my first subway trip, saw Greenwich Village, the Meatpackers District, Bleecker Street (Magnolia Bakery for SITC fans) and the High Line to list just a few of the places visited on our walking tour. Andrew our guide was able to provide a very interesting commentary duing the tour and I learnt a lot about New York. I just wished I had more time to do other tours from this great little outfit!

Add this walk to your list of must do in New York. Dan showed us places around Brooklyn and DUMBO, areas which we would not have found ourselves. It was very informative and interesting. The views of Manhattan were awesome as was the pizza in the Restaurant that Dan recommended.
