The Redbury Hotel offers a complimentary walking tour on a Saturday morning. We had Andrew, there were only 3 of us on the tour so he was able to answer lots of our questions. Although we had walked along the streets he took us, the stories gave it a different perspective and we noticed things we hadn't seen before. I would definitely recommend them.

The Pod Hotels offer walking tours given by Steeetwise so we took advantage of this opportunity as walking tours are my favorite way of spending travel time because you get exercise, see a lot and learn a lot. Greg met 4 of us at 9:30 am at our hotel and took us on the subway to reach our tour area. He was an absolute wealth of information, very friendly, fast paced and thoroughly enjoyable. Three hours flew by as we listened to history going back to the Revolutionary War and details about the building of the Brooklyn Bridge. I highly recommend both Greg and Streetwise Tours!

We had a fascinating walking tour of the Lower Eastside and Chinatown with our knowledgeable host Greg. The benefit of this tour style was that we learnt details about the culture and history of the area that we could not have found in any other way. I loved seeing the graffiti art and hearing about its origins in street culture. We visited markets and saw stores which have origins amongst the immigrants who have lived here over the years. I have no doubt that we will return to NYC and this company will be top of the list to book a tour of another area. A brilliant morning.
