Excellent walking tour, most relaxed and enjoyable. We participated in the Wed tour ex Pod51. My daughter saw the sign in the foyer of our hotel Pod39 so we grabbed the opportunity. Dan Shaki is most knowledgable and affable. We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of the High Line and Greenwich Village. We had intended to do another but simply ran out of time.

You're in for wonderful daily tours (via The Pod Hotel), covering the majority of Manhattan (and even some of Brooklyn). The guides (Dan & Sonya) are fantastic: incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Streetwise guarantees and authentic New Yorker tour as you're expericing the maginifence of the city on foot, learning about its historic sites, and neighborhoods, as well as expericing the culture for yourself. More importantly, once you're shown the ropes, you can go off and explore on your own at the conclusion of the tour (which runs for more or less 2 and a half hours). Sonya and Dan always recommend the best places to eat/shop/visit. They won't hestitate to answer any questions you have for them. Streetwise will definitely be my go-to the next time I'm in the city. Am definitely considering a private tour which allows me to customize my own route of places I'd like to see more of or have yet to see.

My daughters and I had the privilege of using Streetwise Walking Tour Co and guide Sonya for our 4 1/2 hours walking tour in NYC recently. Everything was top notch! A great value for the experience. In spite of the 95* weather we were very happy about our afternoon with Sonya. We logged 8 miles, saw Battery Park, Tribeca, SoHo, Chinatown, Little Italy, Greenwich Village, parts of Midtown, Chelsea and Chelsea Market, HIghline and she helped us take the subway to our hotel in the Upper West Side. She frequently advised us if we wanted to see something else or what would be better to experience!
