Gilligans' Island Luau is an intimate luau experience and is the only luau in Kihei on Maui.

Our luau is less than one quarter the size of the average luau in Hawaii. So, every seat is a great view of the show.

The show is a mesmerizing journey through various types of Polynesian culture presented in a fun and engaging format. Through storytelling, audience participation and remarkable performances, we present an experience unavailable anywhere else.

Experience an Authentic Polynesian Luau in Kihei on the Island of Maui. Come see the traditional Polynesian evolution of Hawaiian, New Zealand, Tahitian Hula Dancers with a Samoan Fire Dancer finale. Show includes Hawaiian Musicians & Drummer and more! In an intimate setting with less than 1/3rd the capacity of most luaus, come have a great time experiencing the culture outside of a resort environment. Includes an open bar with tropical well drinks, red or white house wine, beer and all non-alcoholic beverage. Enjoy a full Hawaiian all you can eat buffet with Hawaiian Kalua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken, Panko-crusted Mahi Mahi with Lemon dill cream sauce, Hummus with vegetable crudites, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Mixed Vegetables, Mac Salad, Poi, White Rice, Molokai Sweet Potato, Green Salad w/Pineapple Vinaigrette dressing and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls with honey butter. Gilligan's luau exceeded all of my expectations! Living here on Maui, I've been to a number of luaus. Most have mediocre food and a decent show. The larger ones feel quite impersonal. Gilligan's luau was the opposite--great food, a great show, and a more intimate setting. We paid a little extra for VIP which secured us earlier check-in, a table with only our party of 6 seated at it, and leis for everyone. Live music was played from the moment we entered. The hula dancers were fantastic performers. Our whole group enjoyed everything about the evening, and the beautiful sunset with the ocean view was the cherry on top. I will strongly recommend this luau to all of our friends and family who come to visit us here in Kihei!

My guess is they have not been up and running long. Quirks had to be worked out in front of everyone. Hats off to the performers, they did it right. The food was less than desirable, over cooked. To many people crammed into a small space. Sunset, yup there was one, but couldn't see it because of all the people standing to take pictures. I guess if you want to support local, this is it. I probably won't again.
