It had a little cafe! More of that in a mo. Nice Mission, and we saw 15/21 this trip, Good museum with good lighting, some of them have been so dark. Largish church, quite simple . Good restored buildings a lot of which are now used as a retreat, which did restrict access to some of the grounds. It has the oldest pepper tree and nice garden area but you could only view it from behind the fence. Yes, it had a little coffee shop, fairly certain the only one that did. A few tables inside and a couple outside over looking the garden. Coffee served in paper cups though and limited snacks available, but was welcome non the less.

I used to live in San Antonio, Texas where we have several missions. This is the first mission that I've ever been to in California and I would have to say that I was very impressed. First of all, it is very easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. The people who work the front desk were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If memory serves, the gentleman who he spoke to was a volunteer. He was very enthusiastic. The actual building itself is not too big, but there is plenty to do inside. They have a number of artifacts with descriptions. I will say that the number of things they had inside was actually perfect. Sometimes, places can have too many things to read where you start to get a headache. This Mission actually had a good amount of material inside. Once you are done walking around looking at the artifacts, you should definitely go in to the main part of the church. It is absolutely beautiful. Then take a stroll through the cemetery. It was very peaceful. The air was also very fresh that day and the weather was great!
