Our guide Janet made the most of a rainy day to fill us in on the sights, geology and history of the areas we drove through on our way to Rainier, and then to lead us on paths through the forest, pointing out ferns, springs and more. We stopped at a number of waterfalls to take photos.

My wife and I enjoyed Tour guide Scott’s narration. We had about a dozen stops at numerous sites including the visitor centers, scenic overlooks, waterfalls, etc. The reflecting pools were still snow covered and frozen. We saw a bear along the road at one point. Great time for all.
