Our tour guide, Lucas, was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about Mt. Rainier and gave us so many interesting facts during the drive not only about Mt. Rainier, but also about Seattle and all the areas/buildings that we were driving past. He also knows the best areas to go depending on the weather. We were provided with waters and ice coolers which was much appreciated. We also made a stop on the way to Mt. Rainier to a store for food, snacks, drinks, and clothing since it was a more chilly day. As well as frequent rest room stops. Lucas was great at making sure everyone was prepared, well informed, and even in letting us know about each hiking trail. You can tell he’s very passionate about what he does and enjoys it and that makes the experience for the customers even better. My friends and I had such a great time and an unforgettable experience, would do it again!!

I really liked Paradise Inn and the simple hikes around it. The tour guide was very sweet and he kept us entertained throughout the tour.

Scary at first, as there were fires that had the sky with tick smoke/fog. Ended being a perfect day! Thanks Lucas for making the trip interesting and engaging, very knowledgeable with a pinch of humor. We were able to see several waterfalls, reflection lake, and have short walks before arriving to The Paradise. On Paradise we had chance to walk up the Skyline Trail to the Panorama Point. The view of the Mount was magnificent from the very start, with just a slight haze but zero clouds. However the view from Panorama to the south was heavily obscured by the smoke. On the hike we were able to see two marmot, one mountain goat and gazillions of chipmunks begging for food. For us (being from tropical Costa Rica) that was quite a sighting! Botton line: perfect!

We are glad you were still able to enjoy the tour even with the fires surrounding the area. The wildlife has been difficult to find so it is nice to hear you were able to spot some along with the beautiful views.
