The trip was well organized, and the driver was excellent. For those who have never been to Charleston, it's a good introduction to the history of the place. However, I would recommend adding some time to the plantation part of the trip. The time allowed now does not allow you to see/do everything in order to get the full effect of the place.

My husband and I did this trip and was very enjoyable. We did a similar trip 2 years ago but this one had different choices, and well forth it. Loved the harbor tour on the Carolina Belle the crew was great and we were able to see many things even some dolphins following the boat. I would definitely recommend this trip you have time to shop and learn about Charleston history.

What a great day trip. We had a cool and wet day which were the only issues with the trip. The Motorcoach was great and we enjoyed the drive thru the country side to Charleston. The Carriage ride around downtown was awesome ...what a great way to see and hear about the cities history. The boat tour of the harbour was also great .. a little wet and cold on our day but still got to see alot of sites and a few dolphins. The Plantation stop was a great step back in time - Beatiful spot. So glad we had time to fit this day trip into our vacation. Dave and Sandra
