Even in the rainas it was during our tour this was an excellent tour. Not able to get out on the deck for a higher level view but. . . Still great. Learned a lot about our history and the way SC and Charleston played such a dynamic role. The lunch that was provided by the tour package was adequate and we really feel the time commitment was just right. Excellent value for the dollar!

The nearly two hour bus ride to and from Charleston was painfully boring. The bus driver never spoke and provide no information during the trip. I have been on many bus tours over the years and the drivers usually provide at least some historical information along the way. The first stop at the visitors center was a waste of time and was not yet open. The carriage ride through Charleston was the highlight of the .trip. The guide was very informative and entertaining. The harbor tour was also enjoyable and the guide very informative. The lunch provifded, however, was barely edible. We were then on to Boone Plantation. Unfortunately, there were several buses that day and we did not have time to see everything that was promised on this trip. Overall this was overpriced for what we received.

Charleston Tours were very efficient. There was not a wasted moment of the day. It's nice to sit back and let someone else handle the details. I would recommend this trip to anyone.
