Once you get off the bus book the tram ride early. There are two different tram rides. Mission control or training. It can take 11/2 hours on the ride. They tell you 45 minutes to an hour. Well worth it but you need to be back in time for the bus. We waited 20 minutes for a passager that did not show at the end of the day. The space Center is very well done.

Great tour. So glad we did it. Only had one day to 'see' Houston. This tour gave us a great little open top bus tour of the downtown area, with a commentary. Then we were whisked off to the Space Centre. Amazing museum exhibits and even more amazing that you get to see inside some of the working buildings of the Houston Space Centre experimental laboratories.

The tour started 25 minutes after the designated time of 0945. From this poor start the balance of the tour was very good. The tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. Quite some time was wasted though changing vehicles, recovering the drivers phone and the late start.
